By this I mean it also applies to the type of status moves that would affect shedinja. It isn't weak to poison so toxic doesn't hit it, but it is weak to fire so will-o-wisp does. Hail and spikes can't kill it, but sand and stealth rock can. Curse can affect it, but not perish song, as it is a normal-type move.

While it is still frail, it can now switch into a whole more mons that rely on toxic or simply have no moves that can hit it at all.

Play rough from a life orb adamant bulu can OHKO a common latios set whereas both wood hammer and stone edge fail to do so.

I was just theory crafting two forms for shedninja, while I haven't done anything in the art department, I do have something - shedinja holds one of two pendants and transforms on switch in and stays transformed on switch out

Angelic Form:
holds the 'angelic pendant', ghost/fairy typing

Demonic Form:
holds the 'cursed pendant', ghost/dark typing

both have a new ability 'deity's guard': shedinja can now only be damaged by super effective moves and status/weathers, each hit sustained removes one of three orbs (effective 3hp) ; multi-hit moves still only hit for 1HP

as for stats, still thinking that up, but only a slight upgrade from what it's got now, although angelic form will be more of Sp. ATK fighter, while demonic will be more the same as an ATK fighter.

Bulu is absolutely fine as it is.
Play Rough is another STAB but does absolutely jack for it. High Horsepower is worse coverage than Superpower against most relevant Steel types(and if they don't have a double resist, such as Magearna they struggle to take even a Wood Hammer). Maybe Close Combat would help it, but it doesn't really need any buff, and is actually more viable than Fini rn, at least in the Smogon meta.
