Absolutely I remember very vidley. Waking at 6am in grade 11 school day. The introduction was goosebumps. I was not ready for 3d.

I think that was more of RS issue. I think BW issue was that at a glance, it wasn't that different to gen 4, plus the pokemon designs and forcing players to only use those alienated a ton of players.

If there's one thing I can give the 3DS era of Pokemon, it's good pre-release hype.
