Since midnight is supposed to be a werewolf, I think they should have made lycanroc evolve in such a way that it reflects the werewolf legends:
>Evolve during day, get midday form, evolve during night, get midnight form

Lycanroc was a mistake. Midday is bland as fuck and Midnight is 3edgy5anyone. Rockruff was hyped up as some sort of 4th starter and it didn't even fucking get 2 evolutions. And the one evolution it DID get sucked, and they completely fucked up on its forms.

That literally can't happen. They fucked up and gave the two Lycanrocs different HP stats.

Whether it's a mega or some other form change, they NEVER change the HP stat between forms, due to the possibility of your HP glitching if you take damage and then change forms.

They could give both forms +10 in their stats I guess. Midnight has the higher HP, so I guess it would get +10 Attack.
Super dumb though. Even if they don't change between each other, Pokémon of the same species should ALWAYS have the same base HP. It makes sense they'd share the same "life bar".
