No. It's the best all-purpose emulator suite, even though the interface is retarded and it needs a bit of config such as downloading the mGBA core and setting a good button theme. Besides, it's the only decent open-source GBA emulator for android that won't fuck you over.

Retroarch is an unoptimized piece of garbage that uses far more resources than it needs. The user interface is beyond terrible and changed settings like to randomly revert to default. Also the dev is an unrelenting shitposter who has single-handedly ruined /emugen/.

If GameBoid is too obsolete then use MyBoy. But never use Retroarch.
