You're forgetting that Lele nullifies Priority. It's one of the main reasons Mawile is not getting played like crazy right now, tho SD Sucker Punch still is a bitch to deal with.

Especially if you give it Swords Dance pair it with Tapu Fini, who can tank Fire moves aimed at Mawile and override Lele's Psychic Terrain with one that protects Mawile from Burns and Paralysis.

The best way to remember how terrains work is to remember all their beneficial effects apply to the grounded Pokemon.
