I was just thinking about this the other day. In fact, I think the game as a whole doesn't have the same replayabilty as past games. It's good for a one-time play, but it's harder to enjoy multiple times.

Pretty much this. Once you've played it once, you know the whole story, killing replay value. There's hardly any game to Sun and Moon.It's more of an interactive movie.
