So I'm facing stage 110 of the EB with no coins, gotta play smart from here on and shuffle (pun intended) between doing cat and EB and hopefully get it done before the update hits. Such a pain, even more because Ninetales needs to be grinded since I don't have a single invested Ice type.

Yeah, Gengar is generally the go-to pokemon for most early stages. Try a DD and +5 if you really cant beat it itemless. Also, Swellow sucks and you really should replace it asap.

Anon who cleared 110 with TTar, both frogs and Groudon, did the same team and items work for 120 too? My Groudon and Greninja are at SL4 so I tried your strategy and won with five moves left on 110, 120 has less hp so I figured I'd stick with that. It's nice to see all the coins I sunk into the first psb grinding event finally being useful :^)

That's a good decision. Beedrill is great to have when you get it. If you have them, I'd say to do Aggron then S-fug or Camerupt. After you have a good number of tappers candied, that's when I'd start with MMY, Salamence, S-Gary and the rest of the tappers.

I disagree in this regard. Since Mew2 is so good in the weekly Meowth stage having one candied makes a big difference, meaning more coins in the long run, and since everybody is always in need of coins that is already a great advantage and they add up quickly. Unless of course that anon has another team that can do the Meowth stage with great success using another team.

Mewtwo is extremely useful. Most powerful psychic-type in the game with a good swapped ability and two megas. MMY is a great option for many stages that are weak to psychic. Additionally Po4 Mewtwo and a fully sped up MMY are the best things at the moment for normal Meowth and weekend Meowth respectively. Xerneas is also great, but Mewtwo will be more helpful in your situation because of the mega.

Recently started again, I was recommended to get the lucarionite however the challenges are problematic for me because my mons are either too strong, or I run out of move before I can obtain x amount of coins, destroy x rocks, etc.

Is this all luck based? or can I use a combination of items that will allow me to clear this easily?

Thanks, just cleared 140. Failed the first time with M-Aero, Ashninja, Lando-t and Volc with MS, M+5 and AP+. Added the DD and went in again, won on the last move just like you did. UP still didn't want to proc on a bunch of 4 matches but a successful five match on the second last turn cinched it. It's nice to have as escalation that only needs a full items run on the very last stage.

EB 130 done with M-Diancie, A-Greninja (9), Volcanion (SL3) and Landorus-T using +5, MS and AP+.

Hopefully everything goes well in stage 140.

Is Unity Power 40% or 60% on a 4-icon match?
I remember seeing it here it was 60% just like Super Tackle at SL5, but every place I look lists it at 25/40/80%. Was it nerfed or I'm crazy?

I am such an awful mix of enraged and relieved right now. Just beat 150 after having to spend two jewels (first brought it to a sliver of health) since UP didn't activate a single time on anything better than a three match. Copied a team I saw online (M-TTar, both frogs, Volcanion) and had my mons at a higher experience level and skill level than his, just got brought down by my curse of bad luck. Anyone else using that team and all items should have an easy time of it, good luck!

I've only got like 1 RML the last two comps, so yes and no. A lot of times in the past RNG has screwed me into burning a jewel on the final stage of an escalation but that hasn't happened for at least a couple of months, so I guess I was just due. I just realized that we should include a reminder in the OP to generate a transfer code and write it and the client ID down somewhere safe in case something happens to the phone or DS.

I've seen far too many anons asking about what they should do because their phone/ds died or got stolen and they didn't write down their code/ID. Also, to all mobile players, it is possible to retrieve your account without the transfer code if you have your ID because the Pokemon support staff are actually competent but it'll take a few working days. It's definitely better to have a transfer code on hand to skip all the hassle though because it only expires when you use it.

tl;dr Generate a transfer code now if you haven't done so already. Write it and your game ID down somewhere safe.

While safari rates are atrocious, I think Lunala is the real cancer of this update. 500 per try and at the very least AP/MS needed for a sub-standard catch rate. At least it's actually a good and usable mon compared with those in the safari.

I think so. Lunala is on the board initially but the only time it appears after that is through disruptions.

I just beat and caught Lunala first try with M-Fug, Yveltal (lv15/SL2), Zoroark (lv13/SL3) and Hoopa-U (lv10/SL5) with DD, AP, MS and M+5. Lucked out and got it in a pokeball for 20-something percent. RT didn't go off very much, I don't think Black Smash+ activated either, and no Sinister Power, just fug matches and combos.
