Alternatives and other ways they could've handled this:

-Replay that session. Most of the sessions are around 25 min. The wipe happened probably mid way so just replay those first 10 minutes.
-Admit defeat and stop the emerald run relinquishing their title as nuzlocke champions.
-Do some video editing (That's what they do right?) and create a story where it's an alternate timeline. Give it a catchy title, give different personalities to all the pokemon, basically reset it as if it were another timeline.
