If the games tried to be more like the anime and had lots of episodic happenings in the various areas you go to, that are optional to boot, it'd be much better than the dumb save the world power fantasy plots they do push. There's nothing wrong with more story in Pokemon, but the way the games try to go about it isn't the way.
