What happens to the Focus Blasts/Hydro Pumps/Stone Edges when they miss? They are obviously powerful moves that have the power to easily ko pokemon so it's not like the collateral damage is trivial.
>>32455778
Clearly what happens is that they fly away into the sky
>>32455778
Except in Pokémon it is
What about causing an earth quake.
>>32455788
a-are they still going?
>>32455778
in the case of focus blast and hydro pump, i believe that they would be pretty destructive and it is why trainer battles do not take place in towns ((((((((most of the time)))))))))
and with stone edge i would imagine it would leave a gaping hole where rocks were shoved from the ground to attack the enemy
>>32455794
with earthquake i dont believe it to be an ACTUAL earthquake, but more of a move that makes the ground shake in the surrounding area. another reason battles do ot take place in towns ((((((((((most of the time)))))))))))why are the mc and their friends just allowed to battle in populated places, i have no clue
>>32455778
Stone Edge would probably just flop back onto the ground
Pokemon are actually amazingly weak, despite having a wide variety of powers. Even a Spacial Rend to the face will not faze a human.

now anon, where have you gotten this information

I got it from may fat ass.

Moves with built-in miss chances don't "Miss" they fail to activate. When you miss focus blast, for example, your Pokemon assumes the kamehameha wave stance, does the motion, and nothing happens. If they miss Hydro Pump, they fuck up the pressurization, and just drool messily onto the floor.

That's how I know you're lying, Dawn is the only one with a fat ass around here!

nice headcanon
How do you explain the fact that most mons raise their evasion by going fast enough for the opposing mon to not see them anymore ? Does that make them fuck up the preparation of their move ?
Also, how do you explain that "normal" moves (which would not really require any thing to activate), such as Play rough can miss ?
>>32456834
>Play rough
>missess by softly tickling the enemy
Fixed
>>32455778
An even better question is how some moves even miss. Like how does a Pokemon miss with Draco Meteor?
And why isn't their a "grazing" percentage for moves? You would think that a Pokemon move could graze a Pokemon, still damaging it but not have full power.
>>32458197
>What are low damage rolls
>>32456620
OK then why in doubles do some moves like heat wave have individual chances of hitting both opponents, ie you hit one and not the other.
>>32455806
They are floating in space forever. Eventually, they stopped thinking
>>32458610
I'm pretty sure grazing something isn't going to do just 85%. It would do a lot less.

Eventually they got to hit something.
>they will accidentally hit alien spaceships and cause major catastrophies
>the aliens will then attack the Pokemon world in pursuit of revenge
