This game's strength is its own undoing.

The collective autism of /vp/ poured into painstakingly crafting the most perfect and universally appealing Pokemon fangame. All that perfectionism, ambition, and attention to detail slows the project down. But the real thing that grinds progress to a halt are the surveys. Appealing to everyone means they have to vote and revote on even the most trivial aspects of the game. The final nail in the coffin is that everyone involved has their own ideas they want included, but only like 10% of them have an actual skill they can contribute to making the game.

It'll be a god tier indie game if it ever gets finished, but that's probably not happening for at least 5 more years (very optimistic).
