Shade shouldn't escape the form except onto another form or the ground. Look at the left between the tail and lower part of the left front leg.
Shadows should also follow the form, the shadows on the elbows don't make sense.
The back legs seem really awkward, as if one was broken inwards, and the right one starts from the crotch and extends out.
Nuance here but Umbreon rings are known to glow, maybe add soft light effects from them into the body and apply the weaker shadows from them lightly.
The shadows also have no temperature, no tint of color to tell what the atmosphere is like, despite the background being made of warm colors.

- I think I see what you mean with the left lower leg. I originally had the shadow lower like the right leg, but it ended up looking "off".
- Similar thing happened with the elbows as the leg; felt odd leaving them as all one shade when the light was implied to be coming from somewhere above.
- Been trying to experiment with other poses in my more recent drawing endeavors. Even with a reference, this is still something that's been giving me trouble.
- I was originally going to excuse not messing with glowing rings on it being low detail like the Eevees I did yesterday, but I guess I fucked that up by trying to shade it. All or nothing.
- Haven't really considered tinting shading to match the atmosphere before. I usually don't design environments for most of my drawings, instead defaulting to something like this pink to have a background that isn't plain white.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I still have a ways to go, but at least it's not terrible.
