I only nickname shinies, my competitive team, and nuzlocke mons.

I do this because every new game, I use strictly new Pokemon, and like to keep their names original to familiarize myself with their names. If it's nicknamed, I tend to remember the Pokemon by that name. Case in point: I even still sometimes refer to Farfetch'd as DUX. More recently, I keep calling all Tsareena Bouncee.

Watch it. The show is starting to go a more deepest lore route now but it's not out of nowhere it was built up well. It's mostly a lot of silly humor based episodes and the beginning of season one moves a little slow but it picks up halfway and season 2 was great. Currently on hiatus, season 3 is confirmed though

Pokemon nicknames are like tattoo's. Whatever I pick, I'll hate it in a few years when I can't change it anymore.

I have nicknames for about 50% of my competitive team, but the other half I either can't think of something appropriate or I just think of them as their species name (usually gen 1/2 Pokemon). I don't want to force myself to make up names or I'll end up like this guy >>32411037
