To answer your question, it feels really, really good. Seeing her be bubbly and excited about something is great. Way more interesting than anything she's done up to this point. I like almost all boys in the manga, but the girls are a hit or miss. I was afraid Moon was going to be another miss, worse than even Rosa this time. So yeah, seeing her actually have a personality is great.

Archie and Maxie both overexerted their bodies by trying to take control of Kyogre and Groudon.

There was a suit of armor and a sword that allowed them to live longer, but there was only one. So Archie killed Maxie.

Hence why in the poster, Archie has the armor.
Archie was later killed inadvertently by Red and Gold when they destroyed his armor.

Their souls went to the Distortion World where the two merged together into a single entity/soul. This soul was later split by what's assumed to be Giratina to save Hoenn from destruction by a very angry Deoxys from the FRLG arc.

The new Archie and Maxie that appear in ORAS are the "same" in the sense they have the memories, but they have different personalities.

These two were also living on borrowed time and they had good intentions. They wanted to save Hoenn from the meteor/asteroid, but Red/Blue and later Ruby/Emerald kept interfering because they're kinda known in the past to be "bad guys," so they ended up running out of time with their new bodies and they died again.

Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon weren't strong enough to fight off the asteroid and they both got KO'd before the giant Asteroid hit, leaving only Rayquaza alone to deal with it.

TL;DR - they're the same people, kinda. They basically became gay/one after they died and were reborn and split into two people, with both of their personalities jumbled up.
