I heard Snakewood is one of those for the lulz type hacks. Now if you want good then I'd go for the massive overhauls of existing games like Red + +, Sacred Gold, or Theta Emerald EX. I can count the number of "new games" worth playing on one hand. There's the Rijon trilogy and Glazed off the top of my head.
