So that it will get Light Metal when I evolve it to Scizor. I want to be able to switch it in without having to worry about it taking more damage from moves like low kick since it'll get technician anyway in its mega form.

The thought simply occurred to me that swapping in a light metal scizor offers me a safety net for if ever does happen as opposed to just sending out regular ol' technician scizor. And again, it won't matter since it'll gain technician anyway after I mega evolve it.

Technician still seems better since there are a few rare occasions where you dont want to mega evolve so you keep your speed.
