I like Decidueye. It was fun to use in-game, and it's a pretty clever design and concept. Not my favorite starter ever, but it's a pretty solid one.

Nah, I can definitely agree that Greninja ends up being the hardest one to use against the gym leaders in Kalos (Fighting, Fairy, Grass, and Electric gym leaders)

Turtwig does nicely I discovered; it can take hits for the most part whereas Snivy definitely cannot.

No, you got it mistaken, frokie is actually the weakest kalos starter. Apparently he suffers the same problem as Decidueye. But this time he's actually fast. But it doesn't realy matter when you don't have anouth damage, and he can't take any hits.

You probably think highly of him because of protein greninja or ash-Greninja. But regular greninja is literally trash in game play. Also,
note: water shrunken was a physical attack in gen 6, what was GF thinking.

Maybe just like greninja, they'll swap Decidueye speed and special attack in gen8. Because there is still no good reason for why he is so slow.
