I used Ruby to cope with my entire 6th grade class bullying me.

How did you cope with losing your house in a hurricane by playing a game where a mythical whale summons tsunamis and hurricanes to flood the planet?

I started playing X after my mother's suicide. OR came out a year later but at that point I was already over the trauma. For how bad gen 6 was, i'll give it credit for helping me cope with her loss.

i got sapphire when i was hospitalized for 2 weeks with a collapsed lung

Played the shit out of Mystery Dungeon and Diamond when my parents got divorced, and through the majority of school where I changed schools every year.
It was the only permanent thing in my life at the time
