There's something weird about Entei's current model compared to the N64/GameCube games model that makes it look worse but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

Is it just the posture? Or does the face on the new one look more flat?

The face is smaller, the smoke cloud is bigger, in general it's more on-model to its official artwork like most Pokemon whose models didn't originate in the Stadium games

The older model makes him look like he's wearing a mask, when it's supposed to be fur. The newer models softens it.
