Think about it, if Lusamine "used herself" in battle then it probably would be considered a pokemon data in-game, I mean, a unobtainable pokemon data.
You probably could inject her and have your own Lusamine inside your pokeball by now, how awesome would be that?

No, that sounds absolutely retarded. People were against just Bond evolution, one that kind of sort of fuses Pokemon and Trainer. This is the next step of that, with a complete fusion that makes the human fight. This is a shit idea, one that has nothing to do with Pokemon. "Trainer" is just the the trainer. If the Trainer is going to join the fight, it's not Pokemon anymore.
