What I liked about portable systems is that they often had Pokemon-themed ones. I didn't get a 3DS until the Blue XY Edition one came out here.

A mainline pokemon game for the switch will definitely up my interest in getting a switch a fuckton but so far there's only one game on the system I want to play.

I don't know if you guys noticed but Game Freak are hopeless when it comes to the technical side of making videogames. Just look at the horrendous performance of the 3DS pokemon games. I think they'd fuck up a Switch port honestly.

As it seems now, the new pokemon games are going to be nothing new, though I hope they plan to expand on it.
