Sorry for the retarded question but how does multipliers work? For example, if a non contrary shackle has 25 of speed and uses shell smash, it would have 50 of speed or 75?
Your stats without any modifiers are multiplied by 2/2
When your stat goes up one stage, add one to the numerator. Howl raises attack by 1 stage, so your attack stat is multiplied by (2+1)/2, which is 3/2 or 1.5x.
SD raises your attack 2 stages, so your attack multiplier is 4/2, or 2x. Etc.
When a stat is reduced by one stage, you add one to the denominator. Screech reduces the target's Def by 2 stages, so the target's Defense multiplier goes from 2/2 to 2/4, which is .5. The target's defense has been halved.

Adding on to this, accuracy and evasion work with the same principle, but you start with 3/3 instead of 2/2. If you have +2 to your accuracy, your moves are 5/3 times more likely to land.

>3/3 instead of 2/2
For what fucking purpose?

I don't tell you how to program your games, you don't tell me how to program mine.

i think its different for accuracy and evasiveness so it wouldnt become too broken of a mechanic, much like mega rayquaza
one sand attack would mean moves with 100 accuracy would hit 66%, instead of how it is now at 75% of the time.

What about speed?

speed is relative
