How good would Regice have been if it was introduced in Gen I?

I dunno man, it would be good but a lot of people would probably still run Rhydon or Golem. On a side note, it would be really cool to have a meta where you could play gen I with one or two later gen Pokemon
on each team.

mono-ice would have been a really good defensive type back in gen 1.
fighting and fire were nearly non-existant in OU and every rock slide user was weak to ice.
