It has nice stretchy arms I guess, but it never made much of an impact on me. Kind just like a Mewtwo with a lumpy skin disease.

It's surprising how few people get this. I love the duality of the two so much. Mega Mewtwo Y is one of my single favorite Pokemon/formes in the whole series. That being said, I do love X as well. Y is better than X in combat.
Boosts the primarily special attacking Mewtwo to higher levels than before, for better utilizing Psystrike and Mewtwo's natural special movepool. X isn't bad but it doesn't have any SpA boost like Y does and it has 10 less speed.

I like both, and it's good that we have both. The only real mistake concerning either Mega Mewtwo is the specific character of Femtwo, but that's more or less nullified by Smash Mewtwo and Adventures Mewtwo also having MMY as an alternate form.

Xerneas does, you are right there.
Bulk up is fine but Y can murder anything in its path with relative ease because it not only has a great special sig move but also the absolute highest base special attack in the game. X lacks the same oomph but it has better physical bulk.
