Pokémon Logic

>Grass type takes 2x damage from fire
>Dry grass (dry gives a lower value than moist) combusts at 233degC
>Steel type takes 2x damage from fire
>Steel melts at 1400degC (it doesn't combust)
>Rock type has neither weakness not resistance to fire type
>Rock, as a generous estimate, melts at 1200degC
Tldr steel has notably high capacity to absorb heat without changing its properties yet because it's a material that is commonly known to be heated to the extreme temperatures that do cause it to change its properties, the dumb Japs decided that steel is just as weak to fire as grass. Might as well build our buildings and bridges out of wood!

>Fire and heat cause water to vaporise
>Fire type takes 2x damage from water

>pokemon eat some food, probably a max of 10,000 Calories per day
>Thet use attacks that cause significant oscillation of tectonic plates which are inconceivably massive

>Pokemon can go in pokeballs
>People can't

>Pokemon hatches from egg
>It's a mammal

>Pokemon hatches from egg
>Immediately make it fight other pokemon

>Pokemon don't die
>Pokemon DO die

>Electric mouse
>Has literally 0 mouse-like features

>Literally my mom's cat but it has red stripes and breathes fire
>Kills some animals
>Turns into a human in a fursuit
>>
>>32181438

Steel being weak to Fire makes sense because Steel type Pokemon are living creatures who are capable of feeling pain and discomfort, unlike real metal.

You don't need to melt steel to weaken or damage it.

Steel conducts heat well in comparison to rocks. Also rock does resist fire type.

Fire can still be doused by water, see: Charmander's tail

Earthquake probably does not cause an actual earthquake, the name is most likely non-literal.

Do you know anything about pokeballs that suggests that it should work on humans? What point are you trying to make?

Pokemon are not animals, therefore no Pokemon is a mammal. Also, there are mammals that hatch from eggs.

Not actually a logical problem.

What

Mouth, ears, eyes, presumed anus etc. Many features in common with mice.

>grabby worm
>eat a lot of leaves
>flying petal insect
Metamorphosis sure is weird huh?

TL;DR everyone posting in this thread has autism

>Doesn't understand that autism is a spectrum

>>32181529
That makes it even worse because steel is more resistant to heat than rock. Who's the nonce now, moron?
>>
>>32181558
>Who's the nonce now, moron?
It's still the person who doesn't know the type chart.
>>
most rock takes longer to melt than pure metal because given sufficient heat for both pure metal will absorb it and thus deform much faster

the conductive property of metal far outweighs the melting point difference except in cases where the heat exposure is in the sweet spot to be high enough to melt rock but not high enough to melt metal

furthermore, steel types are mostly living things with metal exoskeletons (and sometimes some metal bits inside as well), so the conductance of heat means the biological bits get burned much more effectively. the real question is why steel isn't weak to electric and possibly even ice, and also why it doesn't resist fighting.
>>
>>32181562
The dumb one is the one who didn't know a piece of pokemon trivia.

It isn't the person who thinks he's defending pokemon by pointing out that type A is 4x more resistant to fire than type B after being told that material A is more susceptible to heat than material B.

You literally can't comprehend numbers, enjoy your sub80 IQ.

The point being a steel-type can suffer from heat before hitting melting point.

>>
>>32181657
Steel types would be more vulnerable because metals are extremely conductive to heat.

So a steel type would experience a much higher increase in temperature from a fire type attack compared to non-weak-to-fire pokemon.
