describe the pokemon deigns for each gen
>gen I
classic, define what a pokemon should be
>gen II
different, a little more experimental
>gen III
exotic, first time they made some shitty deigns
>gen VI
spikey, edgey, unnecessary gen I evos
>gen V
attempted reboot, took traits of all previous gens and made them have an orgy
>gen VI
a few good, a few bad, literally too few, running out of design ideas via megas
>gen VII
took the deign traits of gen VI, got it right with alolan forms, UBs were a swing and a miss

>Generation I
Animalistic monsters, with realistic features and design with just the right amount of fantasy mixed in.
>Generation II
Tried to be Generation I, didn't come out as strongly.
>Generation III
No longer as animalistic, rather trying to make different and unique monsters.
>Generation IV
Trying too hard with some, too little with others.
>Generation V
Taking previous ideas, tried making them more appealing. Too many filler Pokemon.
>Generation VI
Mixed Generation III and V, without unnecessary filler Pokemon.
>Generation VII
Continuing on Generation VI's way, but now a bit more experimental with its designs.

>attempted reboot
I wouldn't call it a reboot. Rather, they tried to give the impression that Unova was so far away from Kanto and the rest that it had a whole new set of Pokemon, with none of the previous ones being found here.

so edgy you'll cut yourself looking at it
>gen V
quirky; lots of objectmons
>gen VI
big heads on little bodies but generally really good designs
>gen VII
some hilarious designs but way too much waifushit
