Create a Mega/Form that can fix a pokemon:
Mega-Meganium
Thick Fat or Regenerator
HP: =
ATK: =
Def: +40
Spatk: +25
SpDef: +40
Speed: =
Meganium just needs a decent ability, I made the Calc and it can endure an Ice beam by P-Kyogre with the defense buffs without the Thick Fat
>>32131053
Don't make it Thick Fat. Mega Venusaur overlaps with that.
Mega Meganium
Grassy Surge
HP 80
Atk 82
Def 100
SpA 83 --> 143 (+60)
SpD 100 --> 110 (+10)
Spe 80 --> 110 (+30)
There, now it's a big special bruiser but isn't too overreaching since its special coverage isn't that extensive and it takes up a Mega slot.
Special Grass move, Ancient Power, HP Fire and a filler move for its moveset
Meganiumite
Meganium +Fur Coat
80/82/100/83/100/80
+20 def, +40 spatk, +40 spdef
80/82/120/123/140/80
Its bulk would be astronomical
Mega Golurk
Ability: either iron fist but buffed to 50% boost or rock solid to help with all those common weaknesses
HP: 89
Atk: 149 (+15)
Def: 110 (+30)
SpA: 70 (+15)
SpD: 110 (+30)
Spe: 65 (+10)
Is it decent now? Its still slow as fuck but now can maybe actually take a hit.
>>32133522
I'm sure you can come up with a better ability than that. Like it turns into a rocket, so you can even say Speed Boost here.
>>32131053
I wish other Pokemon could get the Eternal Flower/AZ treatmentand be released. It would have to be reserved to infernal shitmons though because its a no-drawbacks 180 BST increase
>>32133522
Remove the special attack boost and put it in speed
>>32133522
>iron fist but buffed to 50% boost
Conkeldurr would love this a lot
>>32131053
Mega Staraptor
Ice/Flying
Slush Rush
Atk - 125 (+5)
Def - 90 (+20)
SpAtk - 85 (+35)
SpDef - 120 (+60)
Spd - 80 (-20)
>>32133742
What, just get a different Pokemon
>>32133620
I was trying to be realistic. Obviously that +15 is useless but I didn't want to min max it. If it got the mega beedrill treatment that would help a ton.
>>32133646
The boost really should be higher, not like its a common ability.
>>32133818
The "realism" thing only applies to some of the XY megas, the ORAS ones do a better job of applying boosts only where it counts
>>32133742
>Loses stab double edge
>Loses reckless
>Only ice move is hidden power
Since megas now give you the speed changes turn 1, there's really no point in megas which are just "the same thing but more stats". You may as well just have it be a regular evolution if it's always strictly preferable to its base form.
I like megas like Diancie, since they completely change its stat spread and give it a very different ability, or even more subtle things like Alakazam since Magic Guard is often better than Trace.
Things like Gyarados which change types are great too. You can predict an EQ and not mega, or predict Stone Edge and mega. I like that it can be played around.
With that in mind,
Mega Hippowdon
Ground/Flying
Thick Fat
HP - 108 (=)
Atk - 186 (+74)
Def - 108 (-10)
SpA - 68 (=)
SpD - 108 (+36)
Spe - 47 (=)
Truly, this is would be the new meta. If only GF were this competent.
Mega Feraligatr
Water/Dragon
Ability: Tough Claws
HP: 85 => 95 (+10)
ATK: 105 => 150 (+45)
DEF: 100 => 120 (+20)
SPA: 79 => 99 (+20)
SPD: 83 => 103 (+20)
SPE: 78 => 63 (-15)
BST:630
Mega-Golisopod
Bug/Water
Ability: Game Suspension
>Contact with this pokemon switches the opponent out with a random pokemon. Only works once while this pokemon is out.
HP: 75 (+0)
Atk: 160 (+35)
Def: 155 (+15)
SpAtk: 60 (+0)
SpDef: 140 (+50)
Spe: 40 (+0)
Literally forcing switches, tanking hits, and dealing a lot of pain. It can even use Leech Life for some good damage and health.
>>32134201
>hp boost
>>32133742
I see nothing wrong with this
>>32134405
Why not
>Evacuation
At the end of the turn, both the openent and user are randomly switched out (in a whirlwind type of way)
It'd be good for clearing boosts and shit
>>32134405
>75/155/140 auto phazer with 160 ATK and the strongest STAB priority move in the game
Surely this wouldn't be a problem for the game's health
