ITT: We make small changes to individual moves/Pokemon and discuss how it would affect the meta as a whole.
>Focus Blast
>85 accuracy
>Rock Smash
>4x damage to Rock types
>>32107348
It went from "Focus Miss" to "Focus Miss, but with Slightly Less Miss".
>>32107348
Attract works on the same gender.
>>32107348
>Earthquake is now 100/85
>>32107379
This would fix the problem every steel, rock and electric type faces.
Acid Spray: Super effective on steel types, lowers the foes special defense by two stages, 60 BP.
Acid:80 BP, super effective on steel types.
>>32107348
Hail boosts all Ice moves by x1.5
Ice Beam, Blizzard and Scald are no longer TMs
>>32107408
It doesn't already do this?
>>32107396
>wanting to buff steel
Don't get me wrong. I know a lot of mons are weak to earthquake but it's also one of the only things keeping certain things in check. If you want to need earthquake, the best thing to do would be to limit the amount of pokemon that get them. I still don't understand why things like Komala can learn it.
>>32107423
*nerf
>>32107348
Spark now becomes priority, bus has 50 BP.
>>32107419
Nope
>>32107423
At this point its too late to undo the distribution of earthquake. It either needs to have its power lowered or its accuracy lowered. Sometimes i feel like if im not running a full levitate team i just flat out lose.
>>32107405
Never understood why acid doesn't have an extra effect where it at least works on steel types
>>32107361
However it's now more powerful and more accurate than, say, hydro pump. With an arguably better typing
>>32107405
Things that already use Acid Spray use it more now.
Nihilego and Dragalge become unstoppable superstars.
>>32107408
Ninetales becomes broken and blizzspam becomes blizzspammier. Other weathers might rise in popularity.
>>32107708
I would say fighting is unarguably a MUCH better offensive type than water. I mean, just think about which Pokemon run water coverage if they don't get STAB on them, then think about how many Pokemon run fighting type moves as coverage.
>>32107375
Make it a small chance to work, like a 10%
>Colour Change now applies before calculating damage akin to Protean
>only weak to dragon and ghost and a whole bunch of resistances since a lot of types resist themselves
>>32107379
Terrible idea faggot
>>32107735
I can destroy your argument pretty easily. Go check the non-water mons who get Surf/Hydro Pump/Scald. Then check how many are special attackers. Now do the same for waterfall but check how many are physical attackers.
Do you see it? As opposed to everyone and their mother getting Superpower/Focus Blast/Close Combat to a lesser extent
>all elemental punches now 80 BP
>ice beam, flamethrower, thunderbolt 80 BP now counter parts to elemental punches
>rock slide 95 accuracy
>all fang moves 100 accuracy
>hidden power 65 BP
thoughts?
>>32107736
heh
>>32107357
>nerfing rock types even more
>>32110799
remove grass weakness
>>32107375
Typical liberal
>>32107716
there is literally no such thing as blizzspam
it's not like fucking aurorus and abomasnow are tours de force
>>32110196
>all elemental punches now 80 BP
Good
>ice beam, flamethrower, thunderbolt 80 BP now counter parts to elemental punches
Ok
>rock slide 95 accuracy
Made it and air slash/zen headbutt iron head counterparts 80 BP 100 accuracy
>all fang moves 100 accuracy
Good, also raise then to 80 BP now crunch counterparts
>hidden power 65 BP
Good also make a NPC that change the type, and have fairy one
>>32107754
>defensive protean
That sounds really neat actually
>>32107754
This is neat
>>32110809
>nerfing grass
>>32112394
Don't forget vanilluxe. I'm running a hail team with one and a-ninetales now that they get snow warning and the blizzspam is pretty real. Wish hail added more legitimate options than weather ball, stall, and Blizzard.
