Ability to meet Guzma at the Pokemon Center Café now and then in post-game.
Make Silvally have 100 across the board, with access to Extremespeed, Recover and its Type able to be changed with Z Crystals like Arceus.
Kommo-o gets Shell Smash and a good Fighting STAB.
Bewear gets Drain Punch.
Missing Mega Stones aren't locked away and are able to be obtained by talking to certain NPCs with the corresponding Pokemon first in your Party. "Oh! I see you have a Banette. That's a great Pokemon, hm? Here, you can have this Mega Stone."

Most of my complaints made me realize that S&M were heavily hindered by hardware limitations. There just wasn't enough room for large amounts of content, or GF just sucks at optimizing. I guess both are true.

After having not beaten it yet and still fucking around before catching Nebby, these are my complaints:

Make everything more visually interesting.
I like it when things I visually interesting. Towns and routes. This is what makes exploring fun for me. Unova and Kalos had really interesting town designs, with different themes and all. Kalos had interesting routes, like the one with the stones jutting out and the one where it was always raining and abandoned building and a marsh with marsh Pokemon and all that. It was cool. That's what I want. I think the region is designed great. Everything is interconnected and different islands being a things allows you to feel the interconnected world soon and it's awesome. Like Dark Souls, almost. But it looks boring. There's just plain towns, plain routes. Make it visually interesting.

Get rid of the fucking Pelipper and fix encounter rates.
No really, fuck Wingull and Peliper. They're fucking everywhere. Get rid of them. If you're going to make a Pokemon so common, have it be a new Pokemon form Alola. Not fucking Peliper. The new Pokemon, the ones I want to see, are rare as fuck, while older Pokemon I'm already used to are just fucking everywhere. Encounter rates are fucked in this game. Fix it.

More Dungeons like the last one.

Make SOS Battles rarer.
They happen way too fucking often. Literally every battle is a SOS Battle. It's cool, I like SOS Battles, but not every battle needs to be one. If I just want to catch a Pokemon, it's a fucking hassle. You're taking a cool idea and making it infuriating.

A better way to level up.
Really, just give me a better way to level up. XY had shit difficulty, but that worked in your favor as it made grinding easier. It's really fucking hard to get to 100 level in SM. Make it easier.

Something else to do.
I love SM, I think it's the best one as far as battles go. There's a lot of hard and interesting battles that require your attention. I want something else. Contests or anything. Something else to do before postgame.

Type:Null was advertised and feel like something it was something important plot-related, but it feels that all that was scrapped because they didn't get enough time to develop all that .
It's the same for UBs. I'm pretty sure the initial plan wasn't to throw them all out in a tiny side quest. It's a big shame that UBs weren't actually uncatchable bosses during and catchable after the main plot

Not really. It was just revealed normally in a trailer like any other Pokemon, and then later revealed in CoroCoro. The only thing "special" treatment it got was its ability, which was also just advertised and revealed to be just another ability. It never got any special treatment.

I'm not trying to say Null or Silvally SHOULDN'T have gotten better roles. I think they should and could've. But Null was never painted to be anything extra special. It was a Pokemon created by humans, suffered at the hands of humans, was saved by a human and grew to love humans. It fulfilled its purpose in the story. It could've had a better role, sure, but it was never suggested it would.

What do poke balls have to do with the fact that SOS calls and pokemon appearing from it being pure chance? The reason hordes were better is because they gave you the ability to force it on your own and in ORAS there was an area that gives you a 100% chance for a horde of each stat.

Make all those areas they didn't finish accessible (like the volcano interior, power plant, etc).

Hard mode as an option to boost difficulty levels.

Flesh out Poni Island and make painter girl a real Captain. Make golf girl a Captain.

Completely fresh people for the E4 with Kukui still the champ.

Way more Battle Tree cameos, and don't make it so isolated on the map.

Pokeballs are coded as battle enders. Because of that, if multiple shinies appear in either Hordes or SOS, you can't catch them all because Game Freak's retarded coding

The issue with hordes is the fact that they're coded to be fully random whether they work or not. If Adrenaline Orbs forced SOS you can keep a battle going longer than just five added Pokemon per horde. The mechanics are there, but Game Freak are lazy programmers that rely on RNG

Fix Null and Sivallys abilities to allow them to use Z moves. Integrate them and Gladion into the story and maybe receive one at the end of the Aether plotline.

Give all major encounters one extra pokemon. Hau and Gladion should have 5 mon by the final encounter. Guzma should AT LEAST have 3 mon at Shady house.

Full proper movesets.

Make Mount Lanakila should be an actual Victory Road, with Trainers. Waaaaay to short

Hordes my issue is the fact you need an overleveled Pokemon to one-shot all 5 and to rely on that shitty EXP share. With the buff to the EV Power items, it plus Pokerus can net you 20 EVs per Pokemon killed and you can keep the chain going with SOS battles

Make the interior of the volcano on the second island, the tidal pools, and the power plant explorable.

Make the golf course accessible with a golf minigame.

Actually be able to Surf through the ocean in the middle of the region, with numerous smaller islands and an extensive network of diving areas to explore.

The Electrical Trial was lame. Make it so that you gave to lure Vikavolt into a generator room to restore power.

Give Poni Island an actual goddamned Fairy Trial. Then give Poni a Dragon Trial with its own trial captain and area and everything.

Let all trial captains and Kahunas be able to be rechallenged with full teams post-game.

Give the games a dedicated Ice user.

Exeggutor Island was a lame way to get the Sun/Moon Flute. Make the way to get get it involve traversing a unique, puzzle-based dungeon on Poni Island itself.

Likewise, the final confrontation at Aether was more or less several linear hallways. Make it more interesting by having it be a trap where Lusamine tries to capsize the island with the player on it, and you have to travel through the guts of Aether to stop her.

Make Ultra Space a decently-sized dungeon, at least. Have wild Nihilego harass you as you navigate it.

Make Nihilego!Lusamine the final opponent of Lusamine's last battle.

Restore Triple, Rotational, and Inverse battle formats.

Give Komala, Bruxish, and Comfey evolutions. Also, make Passimian and Oranguru a shared pre-evo.

Make Rockruff's evolution time based.

Make at least 15 new Megas, focusing on gens V and VI. Also, don't beat around the bush and give gen VII a Mega evolution or two right off the bat.

More regional variants. Preferably, give each set of Pokemon introduced in each gen at least two.

Make DexNav and Super Training permanent series features until we can come up with something better. Also, reduce Hyper Training's minimal level to 50 and make Bottlecaps easier to acquire.

Do you even know what you're taking about?
Hordes are scaled to an average meaning that every mon involved is a fairly low level for the area not to mention moves that hit all targets do full damage making it fairly easy to kill them all in one shot and reap the rewards with a mon that's underleveled for the area. The exact opposite is true for SOS you need a Pokemon that's strong enough to take on the mon of that area because they don't scale down in fact because of the IV increase in subsequent chains mon get stronger the longer you continue

As for the EXP share, you should be utilising it regardless of the method of EV training.

In any case in terms of speed and reliability hordes will always be the better method.
