Pokebeach translation for Delibird is wrong: they think it's a single coin flip that might let you search for a card in your deck to add to hand. It actually flips coins until you get tails and searches for cards equal to the amount of heads.

I've been playing PTCGO for a while now and I was considering getting into the physical game at the next rotation. Given what we've seen of the new sets, I've pretty solidly turned against that idea.

So, the son of my mother's coworker buys a lot of physical booster packs and was throwing away some jank that came with the boosters, my mom got a ton of those and they seem to have a code that might serve you guys. I don't really give two shits about Pokémon but it'd be a waste to throw this away.

So, are there any use to the codes? Should I post them here?

Some weird shit just happened. Was in a theme tourny waiting for round 2 opponent, match was about to start and all of a sudden went back to waiting room. Turned off the game cause I knew it was some dumb disconnect but when I came back I was able to join the game and played the second round and won. When the match ended I got the message of tournament complete and got second place. New here, does this kind of shit usually happen? Really weird that they let me play my round 2 match but gave me a loss on the finale match, honestly makes no sense at all.

"I really liked to play Pokemon Trading Card Game Online a couple of years ago.
It was fun to win, it wasn't dissapointing to lose, because balance in cards was perfect at a time, and winning or loosing a match was a matter of how you play, not wich cards you added in your deck.

But nowadays, every time I go to play in Versus mode, I facing against one and the same cards over and over again.
Those cards were made not for fair play, but for easy wins. They allows player to deal giant damage, add more than one energy card in a turn, change opponent's pokemon, poison opponent every turn, attack twice in a turn etc.
Those cards are unfair, and they really ruins all the fun from playing PTCGO.

I agree there are some really anoying cards nowadays, but don't fool yourself, Pokémon was never properly balanced. Ever heard of Super Energy Removal?

Banning cards could enrage players (aka consumers), you don't want them to stop playing because their shiny bling shaymemes dropped to 25 cents overnight.

Pokémon will always have a "pay to win" factor. If you feel frustrated about that, I sugest you try to set some sort of restriction with your IRL friends. In PTCGO, most people will play just what is proven to be effective.

You can build Volcanion without them. I myself use one like that, most of the time, having energy in your hand instead of a elixir proves to be more useful. And you can use Scorched Earth to make up for the lack of trainer's mail.

New-friend here, sorta re-getting into the tcgo on a friend's recommendation. I've dabbled in it a little before, so I have a modest collection. I'm still grinding out the trainer challenges, but I think I should have an idea of what decks I wanna build.
