This makes sense though because the type is based around human martial arts, thus the Pokemon have to be humanoid in order to be able to use said martial arts.

Not that it's a bad thing, as visual cues are very important when it comes to designing characters.

They're the exception.

They're swordfighters who use their horns as swords.

Most other Fighting types are based around hand to hand combat.

I think Tauros is the best example of that. Besides the addition of two extra tails, and dot on it's forehead, it's literally just my moms bull.
