I learned a couple days ago encore does not work on Z moves which I think is bullshit, especially if it's not even a unique Z-move.
Also I think special/physical Z-moves should have different animations but I guess that would be too much work. Z-move hyper beam should not be "run at opponent with an angry face" though

I wish Z-Moves based themselves on the user's higher offensive stat and the target's lower defensive stat. It'd help certain Pokemon with type coverage.
