honestly the new anime is bretty good, I thought it would be shit but I love it. They spent too much time trying to make pokemon a serious thing without going all the way since it's a children's show, a comedic take on pokemon instead is pretty refreshing desu.

The new style and art are charmingly soft and simple but it's not for everyone that enjoyed the sharpness and detail of the previous season.

No Serena = Good. She was pretty void as far as characters go, and the only people that really enjoyed her as a character were there for shipping.
