Anyone have experience with these reproduction cartridges?
Are they acceptable or is there something wrong?
they run out of batteries, then become unplayable.

Acceptable if you don't mind not having a RTC. Time based events/night will NEVER occur.
Also, loaned an emerald to my cousin. Saved fine until he beat the elite 4, at which point his data corrupted.

If you look closely, it's just a GBA board shoved into a GBC case. The saves don't run on the battery like real G/S/C do, but they're prone to corruption anyhow.

>repros of games that were available in the west and aren't little samson levels of expensive
unless we are talking about a repro of green prepatched with a fan translation, you might as well emulate
>>32018334
I think OP would've emulated by now if he didn't care about playing on-system
There's just something about playing it on a GBA/GBC that can't be beat. Emulation is uncomfortable and easily distracted from. It's silly, I know, but it's just how some people feel.

I'm the same way to the point where I >buy roms
you are better off getting an everdrive though unless there are a few specific games you need it for and not an entire library
>>32018355
Trust me, I know that feel. Here's half of my collection. I was obsessed with mysterious games like Chaos Black as a kid, and now I'm an adult with a paycheck and a years unscratched urge

where the fuck is viet crystal?
>>32018378
Too fuggin rare dude, I've never found one nor attempted to. I should, though.
>>32018355
Actually, post your collection, I'd love to see it.

I don't have a collection of bootlegs, but I have games ranging from gen 4-7, but I am not at home right now, leave tommorow for weekend work. I also need to find my blue and gold carts
don't have any gen 3 sadly, didn't REALLY get back into pokemon until I had PBR
>>32018407
Ohh, I thought you meant >buy roms as in buy ROMhacks, not real games. Fug.
>>32018417
I was talking about virtual console
