>minimal or no plot
>you just roam the region without restriction taking in the 8 gyms in the order you wish, then proceed to become champion
Would you, vp?
Maybe. How many regions would be in it?
Nintendo already has its hands in my wallet so I already have the switch and I still get my money's worth of play time with every main series pokemon game, even if the past 2 gens were a bit of a letdown
So yes, probably

Pokemon isn't the type of game that lends itself well to the open world thing.
>>32011306
I call bullshit on this. Just cut the plot crap and let me explore a region to become Pokémon champion the way I fucking want.
>>32011306
Just let me explore the fucking region on my own.

You two don't know much about open world games do you if you think plot and dialogue is the thing getting in the way.
>>32011379
I didn't mention plot or dialogue.
>>32011398
You don't have to say it for people to know what you mean anon.

>nintendo switch without dock bundle
how retarded are you?
Would probably be less interested. I'd prefer something more like oblivion where you can take on different quest lines whenever you want but there's still a plot.

It's not too crazy an idea. All they'd do is incorporate the joycons directly into the console and make it a psvita clone. Have the d-pad be an actual d-pad and some other stuff too. Sell it for 250 instead. Have some games listed as incompatible.I don't know if I would get that or the standard. I love my PS Vita, so hopefully it would be just as good.

that's stupid
simply sell the Switch without dock and grip for some money less..you have a cheaper entry starting point for buyers than can also buy the dock separately.. it's easy money

I would hope it has some plot. Was kind of getting stale to have a skeleton story in Pokemon, SM and BW(to a extent) were refreshing. I pretty much just play the older games if I want a no-plot run.
