They're like three of the hardest hitting starters and are very potent wall breakers. Zard Y has base 159 Sp.Atk backed up by sun to start nuking turn 1. Zard X needs to setup but is still a threat, they actually make Charizard useful despite sneaky pebbles. Serperior has a good speed tier and access to Contrary Leaf Storm, utility moves like Glare and so on. But it lacks offensive presence when it switches in since it's best asset is pretty flawed. Primarina has a great dual typing of Water/Fairy and base 126 Sp.Atk and usable bulk all around. The only thing really holding it back is the lack of speed, recovery and a better ability.
