Zoroark has a mediocre typing and a decent move pool, while Lucario has great typing and a hilariously good movepool.

Zoroark's ability is also close to useless because it's so frail, team preview, and has a tempting signature move.

They're both fun though. Lucario was my gen 4 OU bro, and Zoroark is great for messing with newbies.

This is what did it. Due to Nasty Plot and a respectable speed tier, Zoroark can be incredibly lethal if your opponent doesn't know you have one. But if they do, they're constantly on the lookout for it, and if you pay attention it's usually pretty easy to spot.

Aurapup was more of a case of GF latching on to something already organically popular and shilling it. Think how Greninja was liked in his own right before he got shilled as the face of Gen6.

Rusefox, though, got shilled too early to be accepted 'cause they wanted a Lucario 2.0.
