VP I have a question but before I can tell you the question I need to give you a little background.
So I've been trying to look for a Japanese Ditto for my Heartgold game, knowing that WFC has been shutdown there's really no way of doing this anymore. However I dug out my old action replay code and found a code online, I got the ditto with a Japanese name, only problem now is that I don't have a Japanese pokedex entry. You're suppose to get a foreign dex entry when you obtain a foreign pokemon. So I searched online and found out that Pokegen was still applicable so I downloaded it and [spoiler just injected lol [/spoiler] a Japanese ditto with perfect iv's and destiny knot. The ditto appears in my box but I still don't have a Japanese dex entry.
So now I need to know how to get a Japanese ditto, I have no idea what's left I could do, beside installing a foreign ROM onto it but I don't have an R4 card, is there a way to download a ROM on my Homebrew 3DS, it's 11.2 soundhax with cfw and FBI?

In Heartgold you can tell if a pokemon's foreign by the dex entry

Maybe the dex entry is triggered by trade? If younset it to originate from japan it'll still work for masuda, etc.

The Destiny Knot-Ditto mechanic was introduced in gen 6, I don't know why you're going to the trouble to get one in that gen.
Also if you can use action replay to insert pokémon you can surely insert all dex entries.
