If they were suddenly real after being not real all this time, I'd probably look for a way to destroy them or return them to whence they came.

If they existed already, I'd probably just try my best to avoid them and carry on with life. I'd much prefer to observe a world with Pokémon rather than actually live in one. Sort of like how we play the games, but with more worldbuilding on Game Freak's part, which they aren't very good at.

I would collect a team of pokemon that would help me efficiently live off-grid. (Warmth, food, shelter, etc). From there I would just travel by foot with no real goal or intentions other than to see where life would take me. Well, that and making a collection of any Uber strong pokemon I would come across.
