Alright /vp/ let's talk patterns.
>inb4 muh patterns
Ok just hear me out. The one and only pattern that stood the test of time is : there shall be a remake in each console jump.
Jump from the GBC to GBA boom, we get FR/LG.
Jump from GBA to DS baam, we get HG/SS.
Jump from DS to 3DS kazam, we get OR/AS.
So now that we are in a corrent console jump (3DS to Switch) it's more than likely we'll get Gen 4 remakes.
I genuinely belive this to be true. But I to belive that the improvement that Platinum did to D/P won't carry over to the remakes (just like Yellow, Crystal and Emerald didn't).
Doing Gen 1 remakes (again) and breaking tradition would be beyond retarded and if that happens I won't be buying another pokemon game again,
>literally dropping the series because it doesn't follow your expected pattern
>implying Crystal improvements weren't carried to HGSS and that ORAS didn't at least take some minor inspiration from Emerald
You talk like a fag and your shit's all gay.

Anon righting properly is not gay, I feel like your just projecting.

But console jumps always happened with main games, not remakes. If you're going to be a retarded patternfag at least do it right.

>righting

Remakes happen in the same Gen as main games. I was talking about predicting the next remakes.

Thanks for pointing it out.
>speaking of switch as the next handheld even though its considered a mix of handheld and home console.
It's this/it'll be this format
OG Boy/Color - R, B/G - Y - G, S, C
GBA - R, S - FR, LG - E
DS - D, P - PT - HG, SS - B,W - B2, W2
3DS X, Y - OR, AS - S, M
New Shit - ??? - DP(Remakes) etc...
??? - BW(Remakes) - ??? - New Rotation(Yellow)
??? - Crystal - ??? - Emerald - ??? - Platinum - ???
B2W2 Hybrid(Grey?) - ??? - Game hopefully Dies Here. By this time we'll be old... Really old
Must be retarded if you just noticed the obvious pattern..
The only actual improvement that the DP remakes will need from Platinum is the pokedex. Everything else is pretty much fixed in SM's engine.

Nah I've notticed it even before oras but no one ever points it out.
