>Primarina
>Tsareena
>Celesteela
>Pheromosa
What the fuck is up with all these feminine-sounding names? This is cringeworthy as fuck.
Thank god at least Salazzle got spared from this bullshit. (she's also the only acceptable waifumon, i don't think this is a coincidence)
>>31924526
Because they're supposed to be feminine.
Celesteela is based on Princess Kaguya, it's logical for it to be feminine
>>31924526
>most are female pokemon
>"waah why do they have feminine names"
only one I agree with you on is primarina, but it shouldn't even have that damn design
>>31924548
Celesteela and Pheromosa aren't female pokemon, they have no gender.
Gardevoir and Milotic don't have feminine names anyway.
>>31924526
Celesteela
CELESTial body + lEELA
>>31924565
I think it comes from Celestrium, a type of stainless steel.
>>31924563
>they have no gender.
they do. it's gender unknown not genderless.
>>31924526
Primarino
Tzareeno
Celesteelo
Pheromoso
Did I fix them?
>>31924526
Says the one posting fucking LUGIA.
dazzle is one step away from sparkle twilight bullshit lmao
>>31924526
>Tsarina + Mangosteen
>Celeste/Celestial + Steel
>>31924526
>Having a waifu
>>31924896
>Salamander + Sizzle
Bitching about etymology before understanding it.
>>31924894
Lugia is best girl though.
>>31925665
Then why the fuck is it CelesteelA instead of Celesteel? Because it's waifubait trash that's why.
>>31925683
Tell me exactly when did I bitch about salazzle?
>>31924526
I want to eat her farts
>>31925701
Because she's based on Princess Kaguya (hence the Japanese name being Tekkaguya)

Explain to an autist - how exactly can a name be "feminine"?
>>31925771
Generally speaking, if it ends with "a", it's a feminine name, and if it ends with "o", it's a masculine name.
>>31925771
generally speaking it's a lot easier in other languages with gendered articles. Spanish, for example, uses "la" to precede female nouns, and "el" to precede male nouns. However English doesn't have these, instead it can be sort of determined by the ending of a word. Normally nouns ending with "o" are male and "a" are female, but there's probably a lot more subtle ways to structure a word so that it seems feminine or masculine, like strong consonant sounds and such.
>>31925690
lol
>>31926504
You calling me a liar?
>>31926504
Heretic. Lugia is pure
why is 'a' feminine and 'o' masculine
guys can say a, girls can say o
they're just sounds
>>31927418
OP is obviously autistic, don't question it.
>>31927418
people aren't words, anon.
>>31927418
To many people's ears a name ending with a "a" sound sounds softer thus feminine and the reverse for names ending in a "o" sound. Obviously this isn't some iron clad rule but it is what it is.
