It has the best filler episodes. but god misty is such a cunt. like not even in the cute way, the entire fucking series she just shit talks ash and tries to take pikachu. togepi isn't even fucking hers.

It's okay for what it was, but i would only recommend it for someone who has nostalgia for the orignal pokemon. There's way too much filler and the dub is done by 4kids, which if you've seen any of the other anime they'd butchered you know what to expect. People say they did a better job than the people who took over during the battle frontier and onward, but it was still had it's fair share of fuck ups and Americanizing, including the now infamous jelly filled doughnuts.

Original series is the best because it has Johto
