He's a solid mon for sure. Did work for me on my Emerald playthrough.

I'm conflicted. I want to take advantage of new Pokemon, but the new Pokemon are so ugly. I wish they had made more Alolan forms.

I only condone it in BW2 due to its strange nature, and XY/ORAS if it's a Mega or SM if it's an Alolan Form.

I usually don't, I limit myself to one. This time it was a Magnemite, and Magnemite served me well.
Not hard this time though, there's a ton of good new stuff to use and I wish I realized Dewpider only spawned during the day so I could have used it too.

Typically whenever a new gen comes out my initial run up until the E4 uses only mons from the new dex.
