First impression is super tempting, but bug is one of the worst attacking types in the game and it wastes the moveslot if they predict the obvious first impression and switch in a bug resist.

I want to run aqua jet, but also liquidation, and don't want to waste 2 moveslots on water.

Other coverage moves may not be useful because of awful speed

But Bug counters bulky Grass/Psychic types and hits Dark types, Dark and Psychic both being perennially relevant. Meanwhile Grass is resisted by the same number of things, the most relevant change being Dragon is swapped for Fairy. I certainly wouldn't say Grass is a better attacking type than Bug.

Depends on the item. Choice Band? FI,Leech Life,Liquidation,Filler(Poison Jab or Payback could work. Or Aqua Jet to revenge skill weakened or frail Water weak threats).

AssVest? FI,Leech Life,Liquidation or Razor Shell(higher defense dropping chance makes it better utility wise), Sucker Punch, Payback, or Aqua Jet(priority options might be better if you got a successful defense drop).

SD? Leech Life and Aqua Jet is a must. The last option is up on you. It's ability prevents it from staying in the field for too long to even run Swords Dance effectively.

Yes, incredibly so. A slow U-turn every turn would make it a fantastic pivot that allows pretty much anything, especially fragile pokemon like pheromosa, to switch in without problems. It's the most logical solution, but GF won't do it.
