The designs are good, especially Tapu Koko. Only one I dislike is Fini. The theme was good and fitting for what they were based on, I will give you that they weren't well implemented into the story, though.

I was talking about how their temples are two rooms with nothing in them besides one or two rocks to push out of your way.

Compare to something like Articuno which is in a relatively large dungeon with actual puzzles.

What? I like the lake trio more than (Incarnate) genies, but they have the same typing and are LITERALLY the same Pokemkn wearing three different hats. Every element of the genies is (subtly) different, including the tails, things behind their heads, body marks, and horns. The lake trio members one different element between them, besides Squint's near-sightedness.
