Glaceon needs to be faster. STAB Ice Beam or Blizzard off of a 130 base SpA is terrifying, but only if it's fast enough or can tank hits. Since it's the shittiest defensive type in the game, we're not going to get much mileage out of the second option.

Would it be decent if we swapped its stats around to make it a Special-based counterpart to Leafeon? That would only give it 95 Speed. We could give it 110 speed but then it becomes almost identical to Espeon but with shittier typing.

If they weren't furbait, people wouldn't use them at all.

They're "useable" in the sense that having one won't bust your team, but they aren't optimal by any stretch.

Umbreon is okay as a cleric. Synchronize makes stall weary to really status it, especially if their Chansey is kill. Dark being immune to Prankster is also a boon.

But now tapu koko is great since it has the same speed and arguably wider coverage options. Plus the benefit of being able to run physical, special or mixed. Mixing up betweed u-turn AND v-swap is also nice.

If you are one of these people, then you aren't playing the momentum game correctly. Volt/Turn isn't about damage...ususally. It's about furthering your momentum and putting yourself in a more advantageous state. The damage is just a nice bonus. U-turn guarantees you don't get locked out by electric immunities.
