and fuck you twice for not doing tulip's worm

also i wanted to do a cool shiny version for once but unfortunately i'm really low on time - that's why i wanted to finish it earlier but i spent too much time being mopey and upset. oh well, the good thing about mspaint is that you can whip up something real fast and the good thing about guzzlord is that it already looks like it's drawn by a 4-year-old. this took maybe 3-5 minutes and is probably my least favourite submission.

Just MS Paint, Wacom tablet, mouse. The trick is to do your sketch in one colour and go over it in another, then pick the sketch colour as first selected colour, white as second, and right click with eraser tool over everything. It erases just the sketch colour.

Another trick is open multiple MS Paint windows, copy your lineart into a spare window while you colour and draw outlines for the shadows and highlights. Fill tool shit, scribble in the missing pixels of colour, then when your lines are messed about you copy your lineart back over with transparency over the top. Use the eraser trick to colour lines if you want.

I'm quite used to using curved line tool six times in a row to make one shape since I used to bezier in Oekaki BBS for years. It's good for objects but can make organic things too uniform.

It's tedious as fuck, but Paint feels faster and more spontaneous. I always screw up something if I do 'rendering'.

Oh another thing the latest version of MS Paint has is brushes that have varied opacity, you can cheat colour selecting by making a dab, grabbing the mixed colour, then undoing. Most of those brushes have ugly edges so they're hard to get right without serious style choices.
