Ancient Power is shown to fling fossils at the opponent. Fossils can be revived into Pokemon. Are you murdering several Pokemon every time you use the move Ancient Power?

The real question is how fossil Pokemon are revived. Is the DNA used to science up a new Pokemon, or is the original Pokemon revived from a dormant state? The first would mean it's okay to destroy fossils, the second means it's probably not okay.
