I was dissapointed that he was in the anime at all, I couldn't stand him from the begining in that mega evolution special.

I don't watch the anime so I don't care, but I am nut rustled over the bad storytelling. It feels like they're doing the same thing again with Pikachu and A-Raichu - it's practically designed to be used with The local mythical, and in any other show that would be a huge hint that Pikachu was going to evolve. But he isn't because muh status quo, so why even have the set up?
