Also that gym is a spoofer hotspot, as is the one at the gates of the forest (I once ended up in a duel with a spoofer who kept putting in high level Pokemon and I would just knock them back out and not replace them, then repeat).

I know it was Instinct because the second any Valor/Mystic players put anything in the gym it was gone within a minute even though there was nobody else within range either time. Came back an hour later and the faggot was still doing it. Guess it could be a bot because it's hard to believe any person could be that autistic.

Both gyms were empty for a few hours until some Instinct player finally put something in one of them. I just scanned it and it looks like he finally gave up or the bot got banned.

Yeah there was one Mystic dude who would take over every fucking gym in a massive area at between 11PM and 3AM.
I knew he was spoofing because of the story in my last post, he actually changed his name after that day, I guess he figured I might report him (which I did), but I found out his new name anyway because of a glitch I discovered. Seems any Pokemon in a gym before the trainer changes their name still displays the old name while in battle, but has the new name in the gym preview (pic related).

He stopped appearing about 2 months ago, so I imagine he just got bored, but I hope he got banned anyway.

If they gave a specific day the update would release, every entitled autistic player, in this thread and otherwise, would flip their shit over it. It's easier to find something else to stick in gyms with far less investment, like Vaporeon or Rhydon.
First of all, Lapras will always be at the bottom and probably taken out constantly, second, Dragon Pulse is garbage, Ice Beam is slightly better but you really should only aim for Blizzard. Third, a maxed out Blizzard Lapras is a top tier attacker and you can stuff it in gyms from time to time if you please.

Also, Lapras candy is hard as fuck to come by, and once you reach 2700 it eats 10-12 candies every +24 increase.

Wrong. Every high level lapras I encounter with blizzard has a greater chance of hitting me through the dodge than ice beam simply due to the fact that damage is delayed for blizzard, meaning it's more of a 50/50 shot of either almost dying or taking an eighth of my health with blizzard. With ice beam I can safely attack and dodge once or twice and avoid almost all damage. What you should really care about is Frost Breath over ice shard, the dps might only be slightly greater but charging many ice beams or blizzards is more important than your preferred charge move.

General rules;
For defending, high CP and high health are most important (Lapras, Vaporeon, Chansey, Snorlax) along with fast charges if it has offensive capability too, while for attacking its mostly useful to have type advantage and the right moveset.
